Large French Lad and Puppies Porcelain Limoges Box

The large French lad and his puppies make a lively group in this porcelain box, the bigger companion to the small French boy with puppies. It was hand-painted in Limoges, France, and it carries the warmth of a country village afternoon.

The Lad and the Litter

Here the French lad stands with a lively crew of puppies, a picture of boyhood friendship and fun. The larger scale gives the scene more presence on a shelf, so it can anchor a display of dog or French figurines.

Village Fair Company

The French countryside is known for its village fairs and carnivals, where boys and dogs are never far apart. This piece brings that cheerful mood indoors. It suits a collector of French scenes, a dog breeder, or a family celebrating a new litter.
