Frog Sitting on a Log Limoges Figurine Box

A frog has claimed the best seat on the log, settling in as if it owns the whole pond. This larger design is a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box made in Limoges, France, painted in vivid colors.

King of the Lily Pond

Frogs are among the most popular animals in the world of small porcelain boxes, and collectors often gather dozens in every pose. This one stands out for its size and for the log beneath it, which gives the scene a sense of place along a stream bank or the edge of a quiet pond.

Croaking Companions

Sunning on the Windowsill

Give the frog a spot in the light, such as a sunny kitchen window, a garden room shelf or a desk that looks out over the yard. It is a fun pick for a pond keeper, a nature walk regular, or a friend whose collection of frogs keeps growing every birthday. Many people believe a frog brings good luck to a home, so it also makes a lighthearted housewarming present for someone settling into a new place by the water.
