Large Sailboat Hand-Painted Porcelain Limoges Box

A large sailboat painted in bright colors catches the wind on this nautical piece, ready for a day on open water. Made in Limoges, France, the sailboat is a porcelain Limoges box painted by hand.

Full Sail Ahead

There is a special freedom in setting sail, with nothing but the breeze and the horizon ahead. This large sailboat captures that spirit, and its bright colors call to mind regatta days and summer harbors full of boats.

Bright Colors on the Bay

• Large sailboat in bright, colorful paint
• Fits a sailing, nautical or beach collection
• Pairs with lighthouse, anchor and seagull pieces

For Skippers and Shore Dwellers

This makes a fitting present for a sailor, a yacht club member, a newly retired captain, or a couple who just bought their first boat. It also suits a family with a summer cottage on the lake or bay. Set it on a mantel in a beach house, a desk beside a ship's clock, or a bookshelf with nautical charts. Its generous size lets it anchor a whole shelf of seaside pieces. Each sailboat is painted by hand, so the colors vary a little from one to the next.
