Retired Design Lemon Porcelain Limoges Box

A lemon gives this porcelain Limoges box its sunny shape, as fresh as a basket of citrus at a Provence market. It is a retired design, hand-painted in Limoges, France, and no longer part of current production.

When Life Gives You Lemons

Lemons have long been a symbol of freshness and hospitality, from Mediterranean kitchens to the citrus groves of the Riviera. A porcelain lemon brings that cheerful zest to any room without ever going sour.

A Retired Citrus Find

• A retired design, hand-painted in Limoges, France
• Fits a fruit, citrus or kitchen collection
• Pairs well with the painted fruit rectangle and other fruit shapes

Zest for the Kitchen

Retired designs can be harder to find once they leave production, so a piece like this is a welcome addition for anyone filling out a fruit grouping. Set it on a kitchen windowsill, a breakfast table or a sunny shelf beside a bowl of real lemons. It makes a bright housewarming present, a thank-you for the friend who brings lemon bars to every gathering, or a cheerful note for someone who could use a lift.
