Tall Light Purple Striped Floral Limoges Box
Light purple stripes and painted flowers give this tall box the soft charm of a lavender field in early summer. It is a hand-painted Limoges box made in Limoges, France, its height giving the gentle pattern plenty of room to show.
Lavender Fields Forever
Light purple is the color of Provence, of lilacs in May and of quiet, restful rooms. Combined with stripes and flowers, it creates a look that is both orderly and romantic, a favorite with anyone who decorates in soft pastels.
Stripes in Soft Violet
- Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
- Fits a floral, purple or striped collection
- Pairs with violet, lilac and other tall striped boxes
A Restful Corner
Set it on a bedroom dresser, a bath vanity or a reading table beside a stack of novels. It makes a gentle present for a February birthday, since purple tones echo that month's amethyst, or for a grandmother, a nurse or a friend who collects all things lavender.
Tall striped boxes come in several colors, and the light purple version brings a calm, sophisticated note to the set. Its height also helps it stand out when grouped with lower floral and egg shaped boxes.
