Long Brown Cylinder Hand-Painted Limoges Box

Long, smooth and finished in warm brown, this cylinder has a tailored, understated look. It is a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box made in Limoges, France, a quiet classic for desks and studies.

Library Shelf Elegance

Not every piece needs a busy scene. This one relies on its elongated cylinder shape and rich brown color, the tones of leather book bindings and polished wood. The hand finish brings a subtle depth that machine-made pieces do not have.

For the Writer's Desk

Set it on a writing desk beside the fountain pens, on a library shelf among the hardbacks, or on a dresser next to a valet tray. It suits a professor, a lawyer, a writer, a new graduate or a father who prefers simple, handsome things. It also makes a dignified retirement present or a thank-you for a mentor.
