XO XO Love Rochard Limoges Box with Removable Kiss
XO XO spells out hugs and kisses on this love themed Rochard box, and a little kiss lifts off as a sweet surprise. It is hand-painted porcelain, made in Limoges, France, for saying what is sometimes hard to put into words.
Signed, Sealed and Kissed
The X and O have closed love letters for generations, from wartime mail to notes slipped into lunch bags. This piece turns that shorthand into something to keep. The removable kiss gives it a playful second layer, and the lettering and colors are painted by hand.
Hugs and Kisses Pairings
- A Rochard piece, hand-painted in Limoges, France
- Sits beside heart, rose and love letter subjects
- Suits a Valentine, romance or anniversary collection
For the One Who Gets Every X
Give it on Valentine's Day, at an engagement, on a wedding morning, or tucked into a suitcase before a long trip apart. It also suits a mother sending love to a daughter at college, or a grandparent who signs every card with hugs and kisses. A dresser top, a vanity or a nightstand is the natural home for it.
Many Limoges boxes are painted by hand only after the white porcelain has been fired, and their metal mounts are fitted by hand as well.
