Mini Bee Porcelain Limoges Box

Made in the mini size, this little bee is a tiny porcelain tribute to the busiest worker in the garden. Like every Limoges box, it was shaped, fired and hand-painted in Limoges, France.

Busy as a Bee

Bees have been a symbol in France since Napoleon chose them for his imperial emblem, standing for industry, order and steady effort. In miniature form, this bee keeps all of that meaning while adding a playful garden charm.

The Hive on the Shelf

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Joins beehive, flower and ladybug pieces
• Fits a garden, insect or Napoleon era collection

Sweet as Honey

Beekeepers, gardeners and anyone who plants for pollinators will appreciate it straight away. It makes a sweet present for someone named Bea, a thank-you for a hardworking colleague, or a congratulation for a new graduate who has been busy for years. Because it is the mini size, it tucks into a shadow box, onto a windowsill beside potted herbs, or among other tiny pieces on a crowded curio shelf without taking much room at all.
