Miniature Duck with Floral Accents Limoges Box
A small mallard duck sits neatly on this porcelain box, its feathers framed by painted floral accents that soften the scene like a spring pond bank. This hand-painted porcelain Limoges box was decorated in Limoges, France, in a mini size that tucks into almost any shelf.
Down by the Pond
The mallard is the most familiar duck of all, seen paddling on park ponds and farm ponds across the country. Here he gets a gentle garden touch with the flowers around him, a pairing that feels both natural and pretty.
Waterfowl on a Narrow Ledge
- Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
- Suits a duck, waterfowl or pond bird collection
- Pairs with goose, swan and lily pad pieces
Lake Cabin Charm
Its small size makes it easy to group with other birds on a windowsill, a narrow ledge or a lake cabin shelf. It is a nice present for a birdwatcher, a duck hunter's spouse, or anyone with a pond behind the house. Spring and Easter tables are another good spot, where the floral accents fit right in.
A gentle little piece for anyone who keeps ducks of every kind.
