Mini Mouse with Trap Porcelain Limoges Box

A little mouse eyes a mousetrap in this small porcelain box, a cat and mouse story with no cat in sight. It is a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box made in Limoges, France, a lighthearted piece that tends to get a laugh from everyone who notices it.

The Cheese Is a Trap

Every kitchen has its legends about the clever mouse that always got away. This piece plays on that old story with a tiny bit of suspense. Will the mouse take the bait? The humor is gentle, and the small scale makes it easy to tuck into a crowded cabinet or a pantry shelf.

Pantry Mischief

• Painted porcelain from the Limoges workshops
• Fits a mouse, cheese or kitchen humor collection
• A cute accent for a pantry shelf or kitchen counter

The One That Got Away

Set it beside a cheese board, on a kitchen windowsill or on a desk that could use a smile. It makes a clever thank you for a pest control pro, a funny present for a cat owner or a nod to a cheesemonger. Mouse collectors who already own a dozen will appreciate one with a story to tell.
