Small Rochard Owl on Green Porcelain Limoges Box
A little owl perched on green makes up this mini Rochard Limoges box, small enough to slip in among larger pieces on a busy shelf. Artisans in Limoges, France, shaped the porcelain and painted the bird by hand.
Small but Wise
Owls have stood for wisdom since the days of ancient Athens, when the goddess Athena kept one as her companion. Their wide eyes and silent flight give them an air of mystery that has fascinated people for centuries. This tiny version packs all of that character into a mini size that fits nearly anywhere.

Graduations and Bookshelves
Tuck it on a bookshelf, where owls have always seemed to belong, or on a study desk as a quiet companion for late night reading. It makes a clever graduation present, a thank-you for a librarian or a retirement keepsake for a teacher who shared a lifetime of wisdom. Owl collectors appreciate the mini size, since it slides easily into a crowded curio cabinet.
