Small Teddy Bear on a Round Limoges Box
A small teddy bear sits on top of a round porcelain box, ready to greet anyone who lifts the lid. The bear and the base are hand-painted in Limoges, France, a classic shape topped with a classic friend.
A Bear on Guard
The teddy bear is one of the most loved toys ever made, and this little one keeps watch from its round perch. The fur and face are painted by hand, so each bear has its own sweet expression.

Hugs for Every Milestone
It makes a sweet present for a christening, a baby shower or a first birthday, and it stays meaningful long after the nursery is outgrown. Grandparents often choose it to mark the arrival of a new grandchild, and teddy bear collectors like to add it to a shelf full of bears. It also suits a get-well wish or a thank-you for a pediatric nurse.
Teddy bear collectors often keep the round and oval versions side by side. Limoges porcelain is hard-paste porcelain fired at very high heat, so a small bear like this one keeps its shape and color for many years.
