Noah's Ark with Animals Porcelain Limoges Box
The great ark from Genesis rides on this porcelain box, with Noah and his animals gathered aboard for the long voyage. It is a hand-painted Limoges box made in Limoges, France, and it tells one of the best loved stories in scripture.
Two by Two
The story of the flood ends with a rainbow and a promise, which is why the ark has become a symbol of hope and new beginnings. On this box the boat itself is the main shape, with its passengers painted aboard. The mix of animals gives the eye plenty to explore.

Milestones of Faith
This ark is a meaningful present for a christening, a baptism, a confirmation or a new home blessing. Many people also choose it after a hard season, as a reminder that the waters always recede. It sits comfortably on a bedroom bookshelf, a prayer corner or a family room cabinet near framed photos.
An Old Craft for an Old Story
Small porcelain boxes became fashionable in eighteenth century France for holding snuff, pills and beauty patches. Today the same tradition carries stories like this one.
