Rochard Nutcracker Limoges Box on a Green Base

A proud nutcracker stands guard on a green base, ready to march straight out of a holiday ballet. Rochard formed this Christmas porcelain Limoges box in Limoges, France, adding every bit of color by hand.

March of the Toy Soldiers

Ever since Tchaikovsky's ballet premiered, the nutcracker has been a star of the Christmas season. His story of a magical night, a battle with the Mouse King and a trip to the Land of Sweets plays in theaters every December.

Standing Guard in December

Nutcrackers began as carved figures from the German mountains and became beloved holiday soldiers around the world. Rochard brings that tradition into porcelain, each figure painted by hand so no two soldiers look quite the same.

The Holiday Regiment

• A Rochard nutcracker design from Limoges, France
• Joins ballerina, toy soldier and Christmas tree boxes
• Fits a nutcracker, ballet or Christmas collection

Stand him on a mantel among greenery, a piano top during holiday concerts, or a foyer table to greet guests. He makes a festive present for a ballet dancer after the season's performances, a dance teacher, or a nutcracker collector adding one more soldier to the ranks.
