Ophthalmologist Eye Doctor Book Rochard Limoges Box

A book made for the eye doctor honors the specialists who keep the world in focus. Rochard formed this porcelain Limoges box as part of its professions book series and hand-painted it in Limoges, France.

Twenty Twenty Vision

Ophthalmology demands long years of study, from medical school through residency, and a book is a fitting symbol of all that reading. Rochard makes a series of these career books, each one a small porcelain diploma of sorts for a particular calling.

Honors for the Eye Clinic

Give it to a new ophthalmologist on finishing residency, to an eye surgeon opening a practice, or to a beloved doctor at retirement. Optometrists, opticians and ophthalmic technicians appreciate the nod to their field as well.

It sits comfortably on a consulting room bookshelf, a clinic reception counter or a home study desk. Patients often notice it while waiting for their pupils to dilate, which makes it a gentle conversation starter in an exam room.
