Orange Tropical Fish Hand-Painted Limoges Box

Glowing orange from nose to tail, this tropical fish brings the warmth of sunny seas to any room. Shaped and painted by hand in Limoges, France, it is a porcelain Limoges box with island flair.

Sunset Under the Sea

Orange is the color of warm water reefs and long beach sunsets, and this fish wears it proudly. Without stripes or spots to distract, the solid color has a calm, bold look that holds its own among busier fish designs.

All Orange, All Ocean

• Bright orange tropical fish form
• Fits a fish, reef or nautical collection
• Anchors a row of striped and spotted fish boxes

Bring the Tropics Indoors

Set it on a beach house bookshelf, a guest bathroom counter with a bowl of shells, or a sunny kitchen windowsill. It makes a cheerful present for a fishing buddy, an aquarium lover, a retiree heading south for the winter, or a couple honeymooning in the islands. Collectors who build a porcelain reef often start with a solid colored fish like this one and add striped cousins around it. Each fish is painted by hand, so the shade of orange varies a little from one to the next.
