Orchid on Blue Heart Shaped Limoges Box
An orchid opens across a dark blue heart, the bloom standing out against the deep color like moonlight on water. The heart is a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box made in Limoges, France.
Midnight Blue Blossom
Orchids are prized for their grace and long-lasting blooms, and many people grow them on sunny windowsills. Set against dark blue, the painted orchid gains drama and elegance. The heart shape adds a note of affection, making this a floral piece with a romantic heart.

Graceful Gestures
Place it near a real orchid on a windowsill, on a nightstand, or in a glass curio with other blue pieces. It is a thoughtful present for an orchid society member, a hostess who keeps a greenhouse, or a friend recovering from surgery who would enjoy a bloom that never needs watering. Dark blue also suits a masculine or modern room where pastel florals might feel out of place.
