Ballerina on a Piano with Candles Limoges Box

A ballerina poses on top of a piano while candles add a warm recital glow, bringing dance and music together in one porcelain scene. It is a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box figurine made in Limoges, France, with the candles sculpted as part of the design.

Center Stage on the Keys

Many dancers first learned to count music at a piano, and many pianists have played for a ballet class. This piece celebrates that partnership with a graceful pose atop the instrument. The candles give it the hush of an evening performance just before the curtain rises.

Pointe and Pianissimo

• Painted by hand in Limoges porcelain
• Fits a ballet, dance or piano collection
• Pairs with the blue music note frame box on a music shelf

Bravo After the Recital

Set it on a piano lid, a dresser or a shelf of recital trophies. It makes a graceful present after a dance recital, a thank you for a ballet teacher or accompanist, or a birthday present for a lifelong fan of The Nutcracker. Former dancers often keep a piece like this as a reminder of years spent at the barre.
