Bikini Pig Under a Shower Hand-Painted Limoges Box
Dressed in a bikini, a pig stands under a shower on this playful porcelain box, rinsing off after a long day at the beach. It is a hand-painted Limoges box made in Limoges, France, and it is sure to raise a smile.
Rinse Off Before the Pool
Pigs caught in human situations have become a beloved corner of Limoges collecting, and this one may be the most summery of the bunch. The bikini and the beach shower turn a farmyard animal into a sunbather heading back from the sand. Each box is painted by hand, so every pig shows small differences in color and expression.
Sun, Sand and Snouts
- Painted by hand on Limoges porcelain in France
- Joins pig chef, pig in a tub and beach umbrella pieces
- Fits a pig, beach or summer humor collection
Poolside Laughter
Place it on a pool house shelf, a guest bathroom vanity, or a beach cottage windowsill where the joke fits the setting. It makes a hilarious birthday surprise for a friend who has collected pigs for years, a swimsuit shopper, or anyone counting down the days to summer vacation. It also suits a beach house housewarming or a girls' weekend at the shore. Pig collectors with a sense of humor tend to set it front and center, where every guest notices it first.
