A Box for Tiny Treasures
Many parents use a baby egg like this one to keep a first curl of hair, a hospital bracelet or a tiny bow from the coming home outfit. Grandparents often choose it to mark the arrival of a new granddaughter, then add a piece each birthday so she grows up with a small collection of her own.
Pairs well with baby carriage, rattle and teddy bear boxes. Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France, it is made to be kept and passed along.
