Pink Book with Flowers Porcelain Limoges Box

A pink book wrapped in a floral design looks like a favorite diary or a cherished volume of garden poems. The flowers were brushed on by hand in Limoges, France, on a porcelain Limoges box made in the shape of the book.

Pressed Between the Pages

Books with flowered covers have a way of holding memories: a recipe in a grandmother's hand, a wedding guest list, a pressed bloom from a first dance. This piece captures that feeling. The pink cover and the floral pattern give it a soft, romantic look, and hand painting means small differences from one book to the next.

Bedside and Book Club

It sits sweetly on a bedside table beside a stack of novels, on a writing desk near a journal, or on a bookshelf among floral bookends. Give it to a teacher at the end of the year, a librarian who retires after years of service, a book club host, or a new graduate with a love of literature. Fans of garden writing and cottage style decor will like how the flowers and the soft pink blend with florals, linens and painted furniture.
