Pink Wrapped Present Limoges Box with Gold Ribbon by Rochard

Pink paper, a gold ribbon and the promise of a surprise inside: this wrapped present is a celebration all on its own. Rochard tied it up in porcelain, and the painting was finished by hand in Limoges, France.

Wrapped in Pink and Gold

Pink and gold make a festive pairing, perfect for birthdays, showers and every kind of happy occasion. Rochard shaped the box like a gift ready to be opened, and the ribbon is painted with a steady hand so the gold looks crisp against the soft pink. The joke is that the wrapping itself is the present.

Every Day Is a Celebration

It suits a milestone birthday, a bridal shower, a baby shower for a girl, or a promotion worth toasting. Some people give it to a friend who always remembers everyone else's birthday. Set it on a vanity, a dresser or a bookshelf, where it adds a little party spirit to an ordinary afternoon.

Shaped by Hand

Limoges porcelain is hard-paste porcelain, fired at very high heat, and the decoration on boxes like this one is added by hand afterward.
