Pink Watercolor Palette with Brush Limoges Box

A pink watercolor palette with its own brush brings a soft twist to the classic artist's tool in this porcelain piece. Painted by hand in Limoges, France, this Limoges box is a gentle nod to the quiet art of watercolor.

Washes of Rose and Blush

Watercolor is the most forgiving and the most unpredictable of mediums, prized for its glowing, translucent color. A pink palette suits that delicate spirit, and the brush alongside it completes the picture of an afternoon spent painting flowers or landscapes. Each box is decorated by hand, so the pink varies a touch from piece to piece.

Gifts for the Gentle Painter

Give it to a friend who just took up watercolor, a botanical illustrator, a retired teacher with a new hobby, or a granddaughter heading to art school. It looks lovely on a vanity, a craft room shelf or a sunny desk by the window. Collectors of art themed boxes often pair it with other palettes and paint tubes.
