Polar Bear Cub Porcelain Limoges Figurine Box
A young polar bear cub, white as fresh snow, is the subject of this figurine box. The cub forms the porcelain box itself and is hand-painted in Limoges, France, capturing the soft, round look of a bear just out of the den.
Fresh Tracks in the Snow
Polar bear cubs have a way of winning people over, and this little one is no exception. The painter keeps the coat white with gentle shading so the shape of the cub stands out, and small differences in the brushwork give each box its own face.

Winter Mantel Company
Bring it out with the first snowfall and set it on a mantel among evergreen sprigs and candles, or leave it on a shelf all year as a reminder of the far north. It makes a thoughtful present for someone who supports wildlife conservation, a keepsake after an Alaska cruise or a trip to see the northern lights, or a gentle welcome for a new baby born in winter.
Bear collectors often place this cub beside larger bear figures, where it looks like it has found its family.
