Rochard Antlered Reindeer Limoges Box

A reindeer with a full crown of antlers stands ready for the long flight on Christmas Eve. This winter piece is a Rochard Limoges box, porcelain made and colored by hand in Limoges, France.

Dasher, Dancer and Friends

Ever since the poem A Visit from St. Nicholas named Santa's team, reindeer have been the stars of the Christmas sky. In the far north they are real working animals too, pulling sleds across the snow for the herders of Lapland.

Antlers on the Mantel

• A Rochard Christmas and wildlife design from Limoges
• Joins Santa house, sleigh and snowman boxes
• Fits a Christmas, reindeer or winter collection

Flying In for the Holidays

Set the reindeer on a mantel with greenery and candles, on a holiday sideboard beside the cookie tray, or on a windowsill looking out at the snow. It suits a Secret Santa exchange, a holiday hostess, or a collector who adds a new Christmas piece each year.

Because reindeer belong to winter as much as to Christmas, this one can stay out well into January, long after the tree comes down. Paired with the Rochard Santa's house with brass reindeer, it completes a North Pole scene.
