Rochard Baby Jesus in the Manger Limoges Nativity Box

Every nativity scene points toward one small figure, and this Rochard Limoges box shows the Christ Child at the center of the Christmas story. It was painted by hand in France with soft, reverent colors.

The Heart of the Creche

Many families keep a tradition of leaving the manger empty until Christmas Eve, when the youngest child places the Baby Jesus inside. This porcelain piece is made for that moment, and it also stands beautifully on its own on a mantel, an advent table or a church office shelf.

Silent Night Details

• A Rochard piece, hand-painted in Limoges, France
• The Infant Jesus, the centerpiece of the nativity
• Measures about 2.25 x 1.5 x 1.5 inches, with a hinged lid

A Christmas Gift of Faith

Give it to a godchild, a priest or pastor, a choir director, or a grandparent who sets out the creche every December. Add Mary, Joseph, the shepherds and the Magi to build a full nativity in fine porcelain over the years.

Made to Be Handed Down

Limoges porcelain is fired at very high heat, making it durable enough to be unpacked each Advent and passed down through the family.
