Green Chair Santa with Gift Bag Limoges Box

Taking a well-earned rest in a green Christmas chair, Santa sits with his bag beside him in this cheerful holiday piece. Painters in Limoges, France, finished this porcelain Limoges box by hand.

A Seat by the Fire

After all those chimneys, even Santa needs a moment to sit down, and this green chair looks like the perfect spot. The bag of gifts at his side suggests he is just catching his breath before the next stop. It is a warm and relatable scene that makes collectors smile.

Taking a Christmas Break

Set it on a side table by the tree, on a mantel or in a curio among other Santa pieces. It makes a lovely present for a grandparent who loves a cozy armchair, a furniture maker, an upholsterer or anyone who plays Santa at the office party. It also suits a nurse or teacher who works hard all season and deserves a rest.
