Santa Claus by the Fireplace Christmas Limoges Box

Santa Claus pauses beside a fireplace on Christmas Eve in this cozy porcelain scene, the moment every household waits for. Painted by hand in Limoges, France, the box brings that quiet midnight visit to your mantel.

Down the Chimney at Last

The fireplace is where so many Christmas traditions meet: stockings hung with care, cookies left on a plate, and Santa's long awaited arrival. This piece captures that scene in porcelain, giving the holiday shelf a warm and familiar focal point. Each box is painted by hand, so the details of Santa and the hearth differ slightly.

A Christmas Tradition in Porcelain

Porcelain has been made in Limoges since the late 1700s, when kaolin clay turned up near Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche, and holiday pieces have become a familiar part of that long story. Give this one as a hostess thank-you at a Christmas party, a first Christmas memento for newlyweds, or a yearly addition to a Santa collection. Set it on the mantel, a hall table or beside the tree.
