Rochard Saxophone Instrument Porcelain Limoges Box

With its curved bell and that unmistakable silhouette, the saxophone is the voice of a smoky jazz club in a single instrument. This Rochard rendition is a porcelain Limoges box, its color laid on by hand in Limoges, France.

All That Jazz

Few instruments carry as much personality as the sax, from the big swing bands to bebop, rhythm and blues and rock and roll. This Rochard piece gives the horn a permanent spot on the shelf, painted by hand so its curves catch the light.

After the Encore

Give it to a sax player after a big recital, to a band director at the end of the school year, or to a music teacher who has inspired students for decades. Jazz fans who never miss a festival in New Orleans or Newport will enjoy it too. Set it on the piano lid, a shelf beside a record player, or a desk in a home studio, where it fits right in among sheet music and vinyl.
