Pink Flowered Scalloped Limoges Box

A wavy, scalloped outline gives this porcelain box the look of a flower's own petals, and pink blossoms are painted across it. It is a porcelain Limoges box decorated by hand in Limoges, France, where the craft has been practiced for more than two centuries.

Petals Around the Edge

The scalloped shape softens the box from every angle, so it never looks stiff. Combined with pink flowers, it has the easy charm of a spring garden in full bloom.

Pretty in Pink

• Hand-decorated porcelain from Limoges, France
• Belongs with scalloped shapes or pink floral pieces
• Pairs with heart, egg and chest boxes in the same soft tones

Catching the Curio Light

Inside a lighted curio cabinet, the scalloped rim throws small shadows that show off its shape. It also suits a vanity tray or a bedroom shelf where pink tones already appear.

A Bloom for the Bridesmaid

This is an easy pick for a bridesmaid thank-you, a bridal shower, or a spring birthday. It also works as a gentle way to mark a new home for someone who loves cottage style rooms.
