Salt and Pepper Schnauzers Hand-Painted Limoges Box

Bearded faces and bushy brows make Schnauzers easy to spot, and the breed's famous salt and pepper coloring has been painted by hand on this porcelain box. It is a decorative Limoges box from Limoges, France, not a shaker set, despite the playful name.

Whiskers and Eyebrows

Schnauzer owners know the look well: the gray mix of light and dark fur, the alert expression and the confident stance. This piece captures that personality in porcelain so the breed can keep you company on a shelf.

Best in Show on the Desk

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Fits a dog breed or Schnauzer collection
• Pairs nicely with dog bone, leash and doghouse pieces

A Faithful Friend Remembered

Set it on a desk beside a favorite dog photo, on an entry table near the leash hook, or on a bookshelf with other breeds. It makes a kind remembrance for someone who has lost a beloved Schnauzer, a thank-you for a groomer or breeder, or a birthday present for any proud owner.

Breed specific pieces are among the most personal subjects in Limoges collecting, because they so often stand in for a real dog.
