Siamese Cat Seated with Her Kitten Limoges Box Figurine

A Siamese mother cat sits upright with her kitten close at her side, a quiet portrait of feline devotion. The pair was painted by hand on porcelain in Limoges, France, to make this Limoges box.

Mother Knows Best

Siamese cats are known for their elegant, slender build and their talkative nature, and this piece shows the softer side of the breed. The mother keeps watch while her little one stays near, a scene anyone who has raised a litter will recognize.

A Pair of Blue Eyed Charmers

• Seated Siamese cat with her kitten
• Fits a cat, pet or mother and baby collection
• Pairs with other Siamese and Oriental breed pieces

For Those Who Speak Fluent Meow

Give it to a Siamese breeder, a cat rescue volunteer, or a friend who just welcomed a new kitten home. It also makes a gentle Mother's Day remembrance for a mom who always had a cat in her lap. Display it on a bedside table, a sunny windowsill where a real cat might nap, or a curio shelf of feline pieces. Because the fur shading is painted by hand, each mother and kitten carries its own subtle variation in tone, which makes comparing two side by side part of the fun.
