Skiers on the Slopes Porcelain Limoges Box

Skiers carve their way down a snowy slope in this lively winter scene, painted by hand on a porcelain Limoges box made in Limoges, France. It captures the crisp air and rush of a perfect powder day.

First Tracks

From the French Alps to the Rockies, skiing has turned snowy mountains into playgrounds. The skiers and the slope are painted by hand here, so the colors and small details vary slightly from one box to the next.

Who Lives for the Lift Line

This is a fun present for a ski instructor, a family that heads to the mountains every winter, or a couple who met at a ski lodge. It is a fitting memento of a trip to Chamonix, Aspen or Whistler, and a cheerful thank-you for a chalet host. Ski club members and anyone who just conquered a first black diamond will enjoy it too.
