Skiers on the Slope Porcelain Limoges Box
Skiers carve their way down a snowy slope on this porcelain box, catching the rush of a bluebird powder day. It is a hand-painted Limoges box made in Limoges, France, built around a winter mountain scene.
First Chair, Fresh Powder
Anyone who has stood at the top of a run on a cold clear morning knows the feeling this piece is after. The skiers are the heart of the design, set against the slope they are descending. It brings a bit of the mountain home long after the lift tickets have expired.
Après Ski Companions
- Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
- Fits a winter sports, mountain or travel collection
- Groups well with snowman, chalet and holiday pieces
From the Lodge to the Mantel
Display it on a cabin mantel, a lodge style bookshelf or a winter tablescape between pine cones and candles. It is a natural present for a family that returns to the same resort every year, a friend who just learned to ski, or a ski instructor heading into retirement. Couples who met on a chairlift will find it especially fitting.
Once the season ends, this little slope keeps the memory of the last run close at hand.
