Rochard Snowman Couple Limoges Box

Two snowmen stand side by side on this winter porcelain box, a frosty pair who seem perfectly content in each other's company. It is a Rochard Limoges box, hand-painted in Limoges, France, and it captures the softer, sweeter side of the snowy season.

Built for Two

Most snowmen stand alone in the yard, so a couple has a story built right in. Rochard has a reputation for cheerful, well-painted subjects, and this pair shows that style in a scene that feels cozy rather than cold. Painting by hand means each finished box carries its own small differences.

A Frosty Partnership

• A Rochard design, hand-painted in Limoges, France
• Joins snowflake, sled and mitten pieces in a winter grouping
• Gives a Christmas village shelf a pair of new residents

From First Flake to Spring Thaw

Since snowmen are about winter rather than one holiday, this piece can stay out from early December well into March. Set it on a mantel next to evergreen sprigs, on a bedside table, or on a hall console where guests shake off the cold. It makes a sweet present for newlyweds celebrating their first winter together, a couple marking an anniversary in the snowy months, or two friends who still build a snowman every year. Grandparents often like it as a nod to their long partnership, too.
