Artoria Sunflower Porcelain Limoges Box Figurine
A bright sunflower opens wide in this cheerful figurine box, its petals reaching out like rays of summer light. This is an Artoria piece, a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box made in Limoges, France.
Turning Toward the Sun
Sunflowers follow the sun as they grow, which has made them a symbol of loyalty, warmth and optimism. Painted in porcelain, the big blossom brings a field of Provence or Kansas indoors, and the Artoria name places it among the more refined modern Limoges designs. It is the kind of piece that lifts a room on a grey day.
