Theater Box with Binoculars Porcelain Limoges Box

A theater box sits ready for curtain up, with a pair of binoculars waiting for the show to begin. Painted by hand in Limoges, France, this porcelain Limoges box brings a night at the opera to your shelf.

Curtain Up, Lights Down

The private theater box has long been the most glamorous seat in the house, where audiences watched the stage and each other in equal measure. Adding binoculars completes the picture, recalling the opera glasses once passed between friends during the overture.

The Best View in the House

• Theater box with a pair of binoculars
• Fits a theater, opera or fine art collection
• Pairs with mask, ballet slipper and piano pieces

For Patrons of the Stage

This makes a fitting present for a season ticket holder, an actor after opening night, a stage manager, or a friend who never misses a Broadway tour. It also suits a theater volunteer or a drama teacher retiring after years of school plays. Set it on a bookshelf beside programs and playbills, on a piano, or in a cabinet of performing arts pieces. Each one is painted by hand, so the details of the box and binoculars vary slightly from piece to piece.
