Bright Tropical Fish Porcelain Limoges Box
A bright tropical fish, full of the bold colors of a coral reef, swims across this hand-painted porcelain Limoges box. It was made in Limoges, France, and it brings the warm waters of the reef to a shelf far from the sea.
Reef Colors
Snorkelers know the thrill of watching a flash of color dart between the coral. The fins and the vivid markings of this fish are painted by hand, so each box carries its own variations in pattern and shade.
Who Goes Below the Surface
It is a great memento of a snorkeling trip to the Caribbean, a scuba certification, or a honeymoon in the Florida Keys. Aquarium keepers, marine biology students and dive shop owners will find it hard to resist, and it makes a fine thank-you for a dive instructor.
