Pair of Jungle Tigers Hand-Painted Limoges Box
Two striped tigers move through the jungle together on this bold porcelain piece, a pair of big cats in their element. It is a Limoges box painted by hand in Limoges, France.
Stripes in the Undergrowth
Tigers are solitary hunters in the wild, which makes a pair shown side by side all the more striking. The design pulls you into thick jungle cover, where the striped coats stand out among the leaves. Each color was applied by hand, so the coats and the foliage carry the small variations of real brushwork.
Out of the Bengal Wilds
This is a strong pick for anyone who has been on a wildlife trip in India, who supports a big cat sanctuary, or who simply has a soft spot for tigers. It fits a study, a library shelf or a curio cabinet with other animal pieces, and it pairs well with travel books and framed photos from a safari.
