Orange Floral Hand-Painted Limoges Box, Antiqued Finish

Tall, round and glowing orange, this box carries painted flowers under an antiqued finish that gives it the soft patina of an heirloom. It is a porcelain Limoges box made and painted by hand in Limoges, France.

Patina of Old Provence

An antiqued finish tones down the brightness of new color, so the orange reads warm and mellow rather than loud. The flowers look as if they have been admired on a farmhouse dresser for generations. Every detail is applied by hand, so each box has its own slight variations.

Warmth for Cooler Months

It suits an autumn mantel, a rustic kitchen shelf or a study with leather books and brass lamps. Give it for a fall birthday, a housewarming in an old farmhouse, or a thank you to someone who loves antiques. Its aged look also blends well with genuine vintage pieces in a mixed cabinet, where it seems to have been part of the family all along.
