Large Yellow Flower Porcelain Limoges Box

Big, sunny yellow petals open wide on this large flower shaped box, like a bloom turning its face toward morning light. It is a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box from Limoges, France, sized larger than most flower boxes and full of cheerful color.

Sunshine in Full Bloom

Yellow flowers carry a message of friendship and joy, and this one says it loudly. The petals are formed in the porcelain itself and colored by hand, so the shading shifts gently from petal to petal across the generous shape.

A Brighter Windowsill

A kitchen windowsill, a breakfast table or a white bookshelf is the right setting for a flower this bright. It is a natural choice for a spring birthday, an Easter morning, or a get well wish that needs extra sunshine. Friends who grow daffodils or sunflowers will know exactly why it was chosen for them, and it keeps blooming long after the garden has gone to sleep.
