Rochard Christmas Tree Limoges Box in White and Gold, Dove
Instead of the usual evergreen, this Christmas tree shimmers in white and gold, and a removable porcelain dove waits to perch beside it. Rochard made the Limoges box in porcelain and finished it by hand in Limoges, France.
Snowfall and Gilded Branches
White and gold give the tree a quiet, wintry glow, more candlelit cathedral than busy living room. The dove adds a gentle note of peace on earth, a message that feels right for the season. Each piece is painted by hand, so the gold accents and shading vary a little from tree to tree.
A Peaceful Holiday Grouping
- A Rochard Christmas design, painted by hand in Limoges, France
- Pairs with angel, star and nativity pieces
- Sets an elegant tone in a white and gold holiday display
Trimming the Season
Place it on a mantel between candles, at the center of a holiday dinner table, or on an entry console where guests arrive. It makes a lovely present for a hostess at a Christmas party, a newly married couple celebrating their first holiday together, or someone who decorates in soft winter whites. The removable dove can rest beside the tree or be tucked inside. Christmas tree collectors who already own green versions will welcome this softer palette, which also suits a winter wedding table.
