White Piano on a Blue Base Limoges Box Figurine

A white piano rests on a cool blue base in this Limoges box, a tribute to the instrument that fills so many homes with music. It was shaped and hand-painted in porcelain in Limoges, France.

Blue Notes and White Keys

Blue brings a calm, jazz club mood to the design, while the white piano keeps it crisp and classic. Together they suggest an evening of soft playing after dinner, when someone sits down at the bench and the conversation fades.

Duets on the Shelf

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Fits a piano, music or instrument collection
• Pairs with a pink based piano, violins and sheet music shapes

Played With Feeling

Choose it for a piano teacher at the last lesson of the year, a student who just passed a grade exam, an organist at church, or a jazz pianist celebrating a first gig. It also suits a retirement for a choir accompanist who has played every hymn in the book.

Set it on the real piano lid, a music room shelf or a study desk beside a metronome. Many piano collectors like to pair the blue and pink base versions, placing them side by side like a duet, but this cool toned piano also stands well on its own in a room decorated in blues and whites.
