White Poodle on a Yellow Base Limoges Box

A white poodle poses on a sunny yellow base, every bit the show dog in this polished porcelain figurine box. The poodle and base were painted by hand in Limoges, France, as a Limoges box for dog fanciers.

Best in Show

Though many people link the poodle with France, the breed began in Germany as a water retriever before becoming the national dog of France. Clever, loyal and famously stylish, poodles have charmed owners for centuries. The crisp white coat set against the yellow base gives this piece a fresh, cheerful look that suits a sunny room.

Kennel Club Pairings

Paws for Celebration

Give it to a poodle owner on their dog's birthday, a groomer opening a new salon, a breeder after a championship win, or a friend mourning a beloved pet. It sits nicely on a vanity, a bookshelf or a desk beside a framed photo of the family dog. Poodle clubs and dog show volunteers would appreciate it too.
