A pure white porcelain coiled snake box from Limoges, France. The snake coils round and round to form the box, with its head resting on top as the handle of the lid.
Unhinged (no hinge): the lid simply lifts off. There is no metal hinge or clasp, so the piece shows clean, all-porcelain lines.
Its glossy white glaze suits any decor, and it makes a lovely keepsake box or an elegant gift for a collector. New condition.
