Flowered Chair with Lady's Hat Limoges Box Figurine

A lady's hat rests on the seat of a little chair covered in painted flowers, as if its owner has just stepped out of the room. This hand-painted porcelain Limoges box was made in Limoges, France, as a numbered limited edition.

Hat Left on the Chair

There is a quiet story in the scene: a garden party, a long lunch, a hat set down for a moment and forgotten. The floral upholstery and the hat are painted together, giving the piece the feel of a French country bedroom on a summer afternoon.

A Parlor in Miniature

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France, from a numbered limited edition
• Belongs with miniature chair, millinery or floral groupings
• Combines well with other furniture boxes to build a tiny room

For the Milliner's Friend

Hat wearers, Kentucky Derby regulars and anyone who has ever owned a straw hat for every season tend to smile at this one. It makes a thoughtful birthday or Mother's Day present, and it suits a vanity, a bedside table or a glass shelf by a sunny window.

Collectors who have a few chairs already often arrange them around a small table box, turning a shelf into a little parlor where each seat has its own personality.
