Green Violin Case Limoges Box with Wooden Violin

Open the case and there it rests: a wood toned violin nestled in green, ready for the next rehearsal. This hand-painted Limoges box was shaped and painted in Limoges, France, with the case forming the box and the instrument shown inside.

Tuning Up in Porcelain

The contrast is what makes it sing. Warm brown wood tones on the violin sit against the cool green of the case lining, just as a well loved instrument looks the moment its owner unlatches it before a lesson or a concert.

The Music Room Shelf

Set it on top of an upright piano, beside a metronome, or on a bookcase full of sheet music. It also pairs well with porcelain pianos, harps and music note pieces if you are building a small orchestra of Limoges boxes. Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France, it is a quiet tribute to the hours of practice behind every performance.
